Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your participation in Sessions Music, a band-based music education service operated in Yeovil, Somerset.

By signing up to Sessions Music and/or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not sign up or use our services.

Sessions Music is open to participants of all ages and experience levels. Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian co-sign the agreement form and provide written consent.

We reserve the right to refuse or revoke membership at our discretion if a participant's behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or in breach of these Terms.

Sessions take place weekly on Tuesdays from 6 PM to 9 PM at Yeovil REC Community Hall (or such other venue as we may notify you).

While we encourage regular attendance to get the most out of the programme, we understand that life happens. Please let us know in advance if you are unable to attend a session.

Missed sessions are not refundable or transferable.

Monthly fees are payable in advance. The current pricing is:

• Early Bird: £39/month (locked in for life for the first 10 members) • Standard: £49/month

Fees are subject to change with 30 days' written notice. Payment can be made via the methods specified during sign-up.

Your first session is free — no payment is required until you decide to continue.

You may cancel your membership at any time by giving us written notice (email is fine). Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid month.

We do not offer refunds for partial months or missed sessions. If you have exceptional circumstances, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Instruments and basic equipment are provided during sessions. You are welcome to bring your own instrument if you prefer.

Sessions Music is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft of personal instruments or equipment brought to sessions. Please ensure your belongings are insured if they are of significant value.

Your safety is our priority. Please inform us of any medical conditions, disabilities, or accessibility needs during sign-up so we can ensure your comfort and safety.

Participants must follow all reasonable health and safety instructions given by Sessions Music staff. We reserve the right to exclude any participant whose behaviour poses a risk to themselves or others.

Sessions Music may photograph and record video during rehearsals and live performances for promotional and social media purposes.

By participating, you consent to the use of your image and likeness in promotional materials unless you notify us in writing that you do not consent.

For participants under 18, parental or guardian consent is required.

All participants are expected to:

• Treat fellow band members, staff, and venue personnel with respect • Arrive on time and prepared for sessions • Follow instructions from Sessions Music staff • Refrain from behaviour that is disruptive, abusive, or unsafe • Not attend sessions under the influence of alcohol or drugs

Breaches of this code may result in a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent exclusion at our discretion.

All content on the Sessions Music website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Sessions Music and is protected by copyright law.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from our website without our written permission.

Sessions Music provides music education and performance opportunities on a best-efforts basis. We do not guarantee specific outcomes or skill levels.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sessions Music shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation in our services.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued participation after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
